Mr Bulmer:
Hello and thank you for your interest in this website! This is constantly being updated, please bookmark and keep calling back to see it as it progresses!
Laser Cut Template "Flying Dragon":
The latest template for the laser cutter is an A3 version of a 'Flying Dragon' that can be cut out and assembled.
The file can be downloaded as a Corel X5 file and in 2DDesign format.
I have cut this out in 3mm fluted board and it works well, I am about to try it using 3mm Acrylic; if/when successful I will post up the results.
Please email any variations and I will include them on the website.
The Beginning!
Central to your success within Design and Technology is your ability to design. Designing is all about producing SOLUTIONS to IDENTIFIED DESIGN PROBLEMS!
Because design is not neccessarily straight forward, it is sometimes difficult to have a clear understanding of the whole DESIGN PROCESS. The diagram below tries to make this clear.

Years 7 & 8:

All but CAD/CAM can be chosen as a GCSE in Key Stage 4; CAD/CAM is replaced with BTEC Engineering.
The website currently contains Key Stage 3 schemes of work and resources for Year 9; these will be left for other teachers to use.
